Westminster 2028

Westminster 2028

Westminster has several staff members who will be retiring after many years of service. The Visioning Committee and Session recognized that five retirements at once would have a dramatic impact on the vibrancy of our ministries. With the Presbytery of Middle Tennessee’s approval, a thoughtful transition plan has begun.

In January of 2024, we began the search that ultimately brought Sarah Bird Kneff to us as our Associate Pastor for Faith Formation, replacing Guy D. Griffith, who became our Part-time Associate Pastor for Pastoral Care and Teaching.

In May of 2025, Heidi Hudnut-Beumler retired as our Associate for Congregational Care. Soon afterward, we called Stephanie Boaz into that position.

In February of 2026, our Pastor and Head of Staff, Donovan Drake, announced that he would like to retire in two years and that preparations for discerning our next Head of Staff should begin.

We seek to keep you informed in this season of transition.
