On June 7th, Bill Wilson from the Center for Healthy Churches led us in our first “Congregational Conversation”. You may watch the video and answer Bill’s exploratory questions. We’d love to hear your answers.

• The committee continues to make good progress and is on track to have the PNC formed by the end of the summer.
• Once formed, the proposed PNC will need congregation approval. At the appropriate time, the Nominating Committee will request that the Session call a Congregational Meeting.

• The committee continued to meet regularly throughout May and June to consider all 105 names and move toward the formation of a PNC.

• While accepting nominations, the committee met with members of the last PNC to hear about their experiences and guidance, as well as with WPC staff.
• The nomination window closed April 5. The committee received 105 unique names for nomination.
• The committee held its first meeting on April 15 to begin work on the slate for the Pastor Nominating Committee.
• Soon after, the committee met with Bill Wilson to learn more about what makes for a healthy PNC and how to create a matrix.
