New Members

Whether you would like to explore Westminster further or are feeling ready to join this community of faith, our New Member class is for you! If you are a present member who wants to learn more, you are also welcome to join us for any and all of these informative classes.

Classes are held for seven weeks beginning in September and January each year.

This class provides a warm small group experience by providing time for fellowship and the building of relationships. The focus is on the life and mission of Westminster, as well as the history and Reformed faith of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), the denomination of which we are a part. Westminster’s history, church structure, and governance are also covered, and the abundant opportunities for learning, fellowship, mission, and service will be shared.

Why attend? Past participants say:

“If you are coming from another denomination, another Presbyterian church, or are new to church life, this class is an opportunity to learn about being a Presbyterian and Westminster.”

“It is a way to meet new people who are on the same journey as you.”

“It is a great way to get plugged in right away!”

“It provides a way to make connections to existing members and staff.”
