Food & Faith 2026
Saturday, February 21
8:30 am – 1 pm
Westminster Presbyterian Church
This year’s Food and Faith event will focus on helping faith communities understand the realities of food insecurity in the greater Nashville area and highlighting the many ways they can be part of the solution. This event will bring congregations together with a variety of community organizations to break down silos and build a shared network of hunger relief. We will hear from a number of local speakers who lead discussion on topics including the food landscape of Nashville, community gardening, orchards, hot meals, food pantries, and advocacy. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. We hope you’ll join us as we come together as a community to seek sustainable, long-terms solutions to hunger..

About Us
The Food and Faith Collective is building a movement where congregations, neighbors, and nonprofits come together to confront the realities of food insecurity and address hunger at its roots. We believe food justice is community work and when we unite our voices, resources, and compassion, we create the power to imagine and build real solutions. Our work breaks down the walls that keep churches, organizations, and communities operating in isolation, replacing them with a shared network that responds to hunger with courage, collaboration, and long-term vision. If you care about equity, community, and ensuring every family has what they need to thrive, this is your place. Join us: your presence matters.
