Earth Care Task Force

Westminster to Sponsor
Earth Day Tree Pickup

Our faith calls us to be caretakers of our planet, and Earth Day reminds us of our commitment to doing so.

In acknowledgement, please, order a tree through Green Interchange and then make plans to pick it up at the WPC North Entrance on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Redbuds and tulip poplars are the choices this year. Even if you don’t want to order one to take home and plant, Green Interchange is a worthwhile organization to support. Please thank Jill Sink for her efforts on our behalf in supporting this great outreach when you see her.

Reserve your trees or make a donation HERE  Specify WPC as the pickup spot. Plant the trees or give them to others to enjoy.

The Earth Care Task Force of Westminster Presbyterian Church Nashville celebrates God’s grace in creation. We pledge to educate ourselves and other members of our church of the threats to our world, implement measures in our congregation to help in its healing, and join with others outside our congregation to restore our vulnerable environment in a just way.

The Task Force meets the second Wednesday each month at 5:30 p.m. Anyone interested should contact Curtis Baysinger.
