What, if anything, does Medieval Biblical Interpretation have to offer us in the 21st century? Come join Covenant class this April to find out! We’ll look at how the “senses of Scripture” – a multifaceted approach to interpreting the Bible – offers a richer encounter with Scripture than sheer literalism or empty historicism. Along with an overview and exploration of Medieval Biblical Interpretation, we’ll have a chance to test out these methods in class as well as think through the larger purposes and aims of exegesis.
