“How Luther and Calvin Connected Worship and Faith Formation—and the Musical Blessings That Continue to Flow to Us.”

Luther and Calvin experimented with new approaches to many facets of church life, including both music and faith formation practices. The Psalms played a huge role. Gifted poets and composers produced songs still sung today. Learning about these experiments may well give us new music we will learn to love—and pray. It also may help us encourage poets and artists today who work in counter-cultural ways to strengthen faith and Christian witness through their craft.
