Children’s Choir Program

The objective of our Children’s Choir program is to give an opportunity for young people of all age levels to develop the art of Christian leadership through music. This comprehensive ministry of education and worship prepares our children for a lifetime of service to the church and encourages them to sing with beauty and sincerity so that the singing of each choir might be a truly inspirational part of worship.

The Children’s Choir year runs from September through April. The choirs sing and lead worship for Children’s Sabbath, the Christmas Eve afternoon Family Service, Palm Sunday, plus other Worship Services during the church year. The Gloria and Jubilate Choirs travel each year to area nursing homes or hospitals to sing for those unable to attend worship at Westminster. They also ring several times during the year for the Children’s Sunday School gathering on Sunday mornings.
